Dr. Alan Burdette

Dr. Alan Burdette, a graduate of the University of Georgia, has been helping the community and surrounding areas since 1981. His passion for his work can be seen in his unwavering kindness that he shows the furry members of your family. He strives to make himself available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. That is unless he is off watching his daughter play tennis, sneaking out to watch a Bulldogs game with his children. Or just simply taking a well deserved vacation with his family. His emergency services have brought him to the clinic in the wee hours of the morning, or kept him here way past dinner. And seeing as, for client convenience, the clinic stays open until six pm, Dr. Burdette is always here. Since he was a teenager he has had a hand in caring for animals. He often jokes that he doesn’t ask his employees to do anything that he hasn’t done himself. And he is telling the truth. From groomer to kennel worker, he has done everything in between, and is constantly learning more than what the state requires in continuing education classes. He thrives on learning all the newest techniques in caring for the animals.
Comments from the staff: “Dr. Alan Burdette, the greatest vet to ever look at an animal (according to all those that work with him). Not to mention an awesome boss. You have never run across a more caring & patient man. Jackson Veterinary Clinic is the greatest place to work because of our “Dr. B”.
